Next day at 7.05 I went to deceased's room. I tried the door: it was locked. At 9 a.m. I tried the door again. It was still locked. At 10 a.m. I went up again. I used a hook and raised the bolt in an adjoining room and then entered deceased's bath room from it. I saw deceased lying dead in the bathroom. The outer door of the bath-

-room was locked from the inside. The bedroom door was locked from

the inside. I saw the key inside through the glass.

Deceased was lying on his right side. He had the

towels produced under his head. He was dressed in a blue coat such as

are used by hospital patients and serge trousers. I saw the blue

bettle on a table in the bathroom. The white bottle was broken and on

the ground. I saw the tumbler beside him nearer to his head.
